Managing Users Under a Supplier Profile in Striive

This article describes how, as an administrator of a supplier profile in Striive, you create new users, edit existing users, and delete users.

Navigating to the User Overview

  1. Go to striive.com and log in with your credentials.
  2. Click your initials in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click "Company Profile" in the dropdown menu.
  4. Click the "Users" tab within the company profile.

Creating a New User

  1. In the user overview, click the green "Add User" button in the top right corner.
  2. Fill in the new user's details in the form (title, first name, middle name, last name, email address, phone number, and job title).
  3. Under "Access to sensitive data," pay close attention to which permissions you assign to the user. By default, all permissions are checked:
    • Contact person
    • View assignments
    • Access to all employees
    • View agreements
    • View financial data
    • Manage company data
Only enable the permissions that are actually needed for this user's role. Permissions such as "View financial data" and "Manage company data" grant access to sensitive information and should not be assigned to every user by default.
  4. Click "Add User" to create the user. The user will receive an activation email.

Editing or Deleting a User

  1. Search for the desired user using the "Search user" field, or scroll through the list.
  2. Hover over the user's row. The "Edit" and "Delete" options will appear on the right side of the row.
  3. Click "Edit" to update the user's details, or click "Delete" to remove the user.
  4. Confirm the change or deletion when prompted.

Please Note

  • The job title you enter is for description purposes only and does not automatically determine the user's permissions.
  • Always check which permissions have been assigned under "Access to sensitive data" for every new user and every change, and limit this to what is necessary for the role.
  • Changes to user permissions within the supplier profile can affect who has access to assignments, bids, contracts, and invoices.
