The confidential advisor at Striive: a listening ear for inappropriate behaviour

Do you, as a professional or partner, experience inappropriate behaviour during your assignment or collaboration with Striive? You can turn to a confidential advisor. This article explains what a confidential advisor does, how to get in touch, and what you can expect.

Why we have a confidential advisor
Do you feel unsafe or uncomfortable during your assignment or collaboration with Striive because of someone's behaviour? You don't have to handle this on your own. Striive offers you an easily accessible, independent point of contact: the confidential advisor. This applies to professionals, seconded professionals, and partners, even if you're placed with a client.

What counts as inappropriate behaviour
This includes:

  • Intimidation
  • Discrimination
  • Bullying
  • Sexual harassment
  • Aggression
  • Other boundary-crossing behaviour

Do you recognise this during your assignment or collaboration? Feel free to reach out.

What the confidential advisor does for you
The confidential advisor:

  • Listens to your story and gives you a safe space to share it
  • Informs you about the options available to you
  • Guides you through the next steps you'd like to take
  • Keeps a confidential and anonymised record

How to get in touch
You can reach out without any obligation via info@striive.com. A conversation with the confidential advisor doesn't commit you to anything. Together, you first clarify the situation. Then you discuss which next step suits you:

  • Informal approach: you handle the situation yourself, with tips and advice from the confidential advisor
  • Mediation: the confidential advisor helps facilitate a conversation between you and the other person involved
  • Formal complaint: you file an official complaint
  • Report via the reporting channel: you file a report under the whistleblower policy

Do you choose to file a complaint or report? The confidential advisor guides you through this. We also offer follow-up support after your process is complete.

Your confidentiality is protected
Everything you share with the confidential advisor stays confidential. We don't share anything without your consent, unless a legal obligation requires it.

You're protected
Reaching out to the confidential advisor never leads to negative consequences for you. Do you work as a professional or partner at a client's location? Your contractual position stays unaffected, even if you file a report or a complaint.
