About the rate indication

The Rate Indication field on the job details page displays the minimum and maximum rate range that the client is willing to pay for the job. The feature provides you with better transparency about the client’s budget expectations before you send an application.

When you send an application, the Rate Indication field also appears under your proposed rate. This helps you compare your proposed rate against the client’s indicated range and adjust your offer accordingly. Moreover, when hovering over the values, the following message is displayed:

Note: the rate includes travel and other expenses and the indication is not a minimum or maximum rate. All offers are assessed based on a points system that weighs price and quality. A portion of the points is awarded to the bidder with the lowest rate. Other bids receive proportionally fewer points for this component.
